Waiting for a Kidney

Michelle is a 29-year old mother of three who has been on the waiting list for a kidney transplant for four years. Commissioned by Current TV, this video shares the experience of what it’s like to be on the wait list for an organ donation. Michelle’s experiences with regular dialysis and raising a family in the projects while trying to maintain normalcy shows a side of the organ donation spectrum that isn’t often shared.
